Candy Corn Bark

Instead of the usual peppermint bark, whip up a batch of candy corn bark. Just like making peppermint bark, it is simple and only takes two ingredients: 1 bag of candy corn and a 12 oz. bag of white chocolate.

Directions:

Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper, spray with non-stick baking spray (works with tin foil as well). Heat the chocolate in the microwave for 3-4 minutes stirring half way through. Spread the chocolate onto the paper and sprinkle the candy corn on top. Place in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours or overnight until hardened and able to break apart.

If desired, do half white chocolate and half semi-sweet by preparing the two separately in the microwave. Spread the white on one side and the semi-sweet on the other on the parchment paper, or spread the semi-sweet on first, let harden and then place the white and the candy corn on top and let harden. There is a number of variations and if feeling real creative give the kids several different candies such as M&M's, Reese Pieces, sprinkles, candy corn, and Halloween colored sugar and let them decide what to put on. Happy Halloween!!!
